IT Data Strategy & Policy Manager

Job Purpose:

Manage the IT strategy with the business objectives to define the IT architecture and standards, to ensure the prioritization of IT initiatives by the business and to manage awareness communication activities resulting from IT initiatives.

Main Accountabilities:

• Contribute to the development of KAFD's IT Strategy & Governance policies, procedures and methodologies and ensure correct application across the IT function.
• Manage IT portfolio management activities which include analyzing and evaluating IT services and solutions, identifying improvement of IT Services and planning for IT related projects based on business needs in alignment with the overall IT Strategy.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures and SLAs, and ensure the implementation of Cybersecurity guidelines, standards and safety measures in all IT activities.
• Organize the IT product development activities through working with related business unit on the development and assessment of business cases, proof of concepts and minimal viable products (MVP).
• Evaluate opportunities and determine the possibility of using them to achieve the IT strategic goals. Identify potential risks that may cause negative impacts on the IT environment and guide the development of related risk mitigation measures.
• Contribute to the establishment of the IT Operating Model by identifying its goals, developing initiatives and determining steps for its implementation.
• Manage key performance indicators for the IT strategy, provide recommendations on means of achievement, and follow-up on progress.
• Evaluate implementation of the IT strategy and its initiatives to ensure effective alignment between implementation and the established strategic goals.
• Coordinate the implementation of KAFD's IT strategy by following up on the status of projects and initiatives to ensure they achieve IT main goals and prepare relevant periodic reports.

- Proficiency in data governance principles, policies, and procedures
- Strong knowledge of data management and data protection regulations
- Experience in developing and implementing data management strategies and policies
- Ability to assess analyze with data classification frameworks and data privacy frameworks
- Strong understanding of data quality management practices and tools
- Excellent communication skills effectively data policies and requirements to stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets
- Project management skills to manage and streamline data strategy initiatives
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address data-related challenges efficiently
- Knowledge of data security principles and best practices to maintain data confidentiality and integrity.
