Strategic Partnerships & Alliances Specialist

Job Purpose:

Support the formulation of strategic partnership and alliances model and strategy and facilitate the identification and establishment of strategic partnerships and alliances that directly serve KAFD’s interests. seek to nurture and grow relationships with existing and potential partners to serve the organization’s mission and objectives.

Main Accountabilities: 

• Contribute to the development of KAFD’s Strategic Partnerships & Alliances policies, procedures and guidelines, and ensure compliance with them.
• Drive the development and execution of an operational plan to establish a strategic partnership and alliances model and a related sub-strategy.
• Enable the continuous identification and active pursuit of strategic alliances and business-focused partnership to advance KAFD’s strategic interests.
• Develop and codify working relationships with JVs and potential partners. Ensure execution of proper initial deal structuring and any analysis or assessments needed for BOD approval.
• Administer preliminary deal structuring activities including the preparation of Memorandum of Understandings (MOU’s), collaboration framework, and key terms of deal and partnership, in alignment with set standards and requirements.
• Ensure timely preparation of all necessary approvals or decision papers for the CEO office or the BOD.
• Guide the proper identification of risks stemming from alliances and partnerships, and help with the development and implementation of risk mitigation measures.
• Monitor, review and evaluate the progress of all KAFD’s partnership strategies, agreements and initiatives to build and enhance performance and deliver improved stakeholder outcomes.
• Nurture, maintain, strengthen, and grow relationships with existing and potential partners to drive the corporate strategy forward.
• Continuously review and evaluate the effectiveness and benefits of existing strategic partnerships and alliances through set metrics and KPI’s. Highlight areas of concern and advise on the required enhancement measures.

• Strong business development skills with a proven track record in building strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and identify potential partnership opportunities to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals.
• Proficient in conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and potential collaboration opportunities.
• Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging partnership opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate potential partnership opportunities and assess their impact on the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or any related field
