Job Description

Key Role Accountabilities:-

 

  • Establish a secure Cyber Security architecture and secure digital corporate/ district systems to ensure risks related are adequately addressed.

 

 

  • Define access privileges, control structures and resources to protect all systems and safeguard all information.

 

 

  • Guide the development of firewalls to secure the network infrastructure, and the configuration of anti-virus systems and consoles.

 

 

  • Continuously monitor KAFD’s infrastructure, network and applications both as a corporate and district against Cyber Security attacks to enable identification and management of cyber threats and risks in order to increase security posture.

 

 

  • Ensure that all KAFD’s Facilities and Smart City infrastructure, systems or services are a resilient to potential cyber threats. Guarantee the privacy and security of tenants related systems and services.

 

 

  • Direct the development of appropriate response planning processes after any Cyber Security incident and manage communications during and after an event with stakeholders and law enforcement, as appropriate.

 

 

  • Continuously review and assess Cyber Security architecture and digital systems. Identify vulnerabilities and recommend upgrades for security improvements.

 

 

  • Keep current with new intrusion methods and develop unique protection plans.

 

 

  • Conduct periodic audits and pinpoint security violations and inefficiencies. Take required measures to avert their recurrence.

 

 

  • Maintain information related to Cyber Security attacks, threats, risks and controls.

  • Communicate and coordinates with relevant divisions to gather information and evidence by interviewing concerned individuals and reviewing available documentation.

 

 

  • Undertake relevant analysis to provide necessary information and assistance to internal and external Stakeholders.

 

 

  • In coordination with Line Manager, allocate work plans to the team to ensure work continuity and prepares necessary reports for decision making and strategic planning purposes.

 

 

  • Participate in conducting research to stay ahead of best practices to bring forward ideas for continuous improvement in relevant policy areas.

 

 

  • Support team members and resolves routine queries to ensure work continuity.

 

 

  • Prepare reports and metrics to identify potential issues and support in decision-making.

 

 

  • Liaise with key stakeholders or as applicable to ensure that all analysis and reporting related matters are addressed and managed efficiently.
