EPMO Specialist

Job Purpose:

Support the planning and execution of enterprise wide, corporate, transformational and strategic projects and initiatives at KAFD within set standards, budgets and timelines, and improve the development of related methodologies, tools and frameworks. Spearhead initiatives aimed at regularly studying and analyzing organizational procedures and processes to drive higher organizational excellence.

Main Accountabilities:

• Plan and manage all enterprise wide, corporate, transformational and strategic projects and initiatives for KAFD to achieve the organization’s strategy and objectives.
• Establish enterprise-wide project governance framework to ensure that corporate transformation projects, programs and strategic initiatives are prioritized and aligned with the short- and long-term goals of KAFD and that enterprise resources are utilized in the most efficient manner. Monitor the proper implementation of the framework and highlight discrepancies if any.
• Guide the development and implementation of methodologies for project and program management to ensure realization of planned outputs, benefits and ultimately contribution to KAFD’s strategic objectives.
• Develop an appropriate project monitoring and reporting system to measure performance and conformity with the planned timeframes and budget and ensure correct implementation. Pinpoint discrepancies and advise on corrective measures.
• Follow up on pro-active project resource and schedule planning with the goal of ensuring the right resources can be allocated to the right corporate projects at the right time to maximize resource utilization.
• Direct the delivery of projects through ensuring adequate categorization, capturing of interdependencies and alignment between projects and programs.
• Ensure the timely reporting of the progress of projects and programs using various systems and tools that facilitate decision making and address unresolved risks or issues with the right stakeholder internally or externally.
• Monitor compliance of all projects with KAFD project management methodologies and ensure robust project governance. Identify non-compliance incidents and advise on the appropriate course of action.
• Enable close coordination of all KSA vision 2030 strategic projects with the Vision Realization Offices (VROs) at KAFD to maintain alignment with national vision and transformation.
• Encourage the continuous development of project management capabilities through the delivery of regular trainings, awareness sessions, coaching and mentoring to project management resources within KAFD.

• Strong foundation in project management principles and methodologies.
• knowledge and experience in process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Power PI and Primavera.
