Job Description

Job Purpose: 

Develop and review KAFD's internal regulations and legal forms and contribute to updating them in line with the requirements and laws of KAFD, and with the Kingdom's regulations and guidelines.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Support the activities of enacting laws, regulations, policies and procedures, by providing legal advices, recommendations and observations to ensure the harmonization of regulations with the Kingdom's laws.
  • Organize a legal database of legislation and developments related to the work of KAFD and ensure its regular update.
  • Provide relevant expert views on the decisions and regulations issued by KAFD to get the best-practice on legal regulatory and compliance aspects.
  • Build and nurture strong relations with key regulatory stakeholders to enable presenting KAFD operations and interests in case of disputes or regulatory amendments.
  • Carry out day-to-day operations to ensure work continuity and to meet internal stakeholder’s requirements.
  • Comply with applicable policies and procedures to ensure that the assigned tasks are carried out consistently and in accordance with pre-defined procedural frameworks.
  • Coordinate internally across stakeholders in KAFD and externally with vendors and customers to understand their requirements.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, documenting, monitoring and compliance activities, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Analyze standard reports to identify variances and escalates issues, if any.
  • Carry out day-to-day operations to ensure work continuity and to meet internal stakeholder’s requirements.

Skills

- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex legal documentation and contracts
- Ability to interpret and apply laws regulations to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate legal requirements and compliance obligations to team members and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify potential compliance issues and propose appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance across the organization
- Proficient in using legal research tools and software to conduct legal research and maintain compliance documentation
- Strong organizational and time management to prioritize tasks and meet compliance deadlines.
